The Physics of Climbing is coming back and will be at Tufas Boulder Lounge on May 2nd! If you missed this last year, join us as Bob Johnson, PhD., a Physics Professor at UPenn & AMGA SPI presents the motions, forces, and energies behind climbing. There will be beer and pizza as we discuss kilonewtons, how the rope absorbs energy, and why some falls are more dangerous than others!

6:00-7:00pm: Open bouldering
7:00-8:00pm: Presentation and Q&A
8:00-9:00pm: Pizza and drinks

This event is free for Tufas members, or if you are not climbing. Non-members who wish to climb and attend can purchase a discounted day pass from Tufas.
