The Philadelphia Chapter of the AAC is excited to announce a sport anchor cleaning clinic designed to teach efficient and safe methods to clean the gear from single pitch sport climbing anchors. We welcome climbers with basic belay skills, who know how to tie a figure-eight knot, to the clinic, where they will receive first-hand experience cleaning a sport anchor under the supervision of experienced AAC educational instructors. The clinic will be held at Livezy rock in the Wissahickon park on Sunday September 23rd at 4 pm and costs $5 for AAC members and $10 for non-members.
