Women’s Technique clinic (4:30-6:30 pm)
Instructors: Jess Riley and Jackie Finklestein
If you are a beginner (V0/5.8) through an intermediate climber (V3/ 5.10) and you're looking to improve your technique, learn the "lingo" and start moving through the grades, then this class is for you!  In this course you will learn how to find and correctly use your center of gravity through proper foot and hand technique that will allow you to "flow" up the walls.  This increased efficiency will allow you to save your energy and link more difficult sequences. Techniques will include back-steps, flags, and perching, as well as heel hooks, drop knees and the differences between dynamic and static movement. We respectfully ask that only women/trans/femme sign up for this clinic.
