The Philadelphia Chapter of the AAC is excited to announce a top-rope anchors clinic as part of our expanding educational programming. We welcome novice and intermediate climbers who are interested in gaining more experience with anchors for top-rope climbing outdoors. Participants will receive first-hand experience in building a top-rope anchors on bolts or (simulated) trees under the supervision of experienced AAC educational instructors. The clinic will take place at Tufas Boulder Lounge on Wednesday January 23rd at 7 pm and costs $20 for AAC members and $25 for non-members. The clinic registration cost includes a climbing day pass for Tufas.

Who Should Attend
Anyone interested in outdoor top-roping at places like Livezey Rock, Ralph Stover, the Gunks, etc. This clinic will be useful for climbers interested in transitioning from the gym to the crag, people looking for a refresher, and those interested in becoming more efficient and safe!
Things to Bring
Harness, rock shoes, belay device.
Pre-requisite Knowledge to Attend
Must know how to safely belay and tie a figure-eight knot.
